Résumé
Iolo explores the breathtaking Rheidol valley, starting at Aberystwyth harbour on the west coast of Ceredigion. It's surprisingly good for all kinds of birds, including cormorants and kingfishers. In the village of Capel Bangor, he is treated to a spectacular sight: a pair of red kites nesting at the back of a resident's home. He seeks out pine martens at Devil's Bridge and explores the valley's industrial past at a remote 18th- and 19th-century zinc mine.
