Résumé

Londres, 1906. Sonia Winter, apprentie journaliste, découvre l'existence d'une société secrète qui se fait appeler le Bureau de l'Assassinat. Convaincue qu'elle tient un scoop, elle tente de réagir. Le directeur d'un quotidien, à qui elle propose un reportage, lui fait alors une étonnante proposition...
