Résumé

Le cadavre d'un bookmaker new-yorkais, qui loue habituellement ses services à une clientèle huppée, est retrouvé dans le coffre d'une voiture. Briscoe et Green se rendent alors auprès de son associé, un certain Steven Strelznik, qu'ils inculpent rapidement de meurtre avec préméditation...
